Trident Case® Partners With Autism Speaks To Protect 1,000 iPads In 2014 Grant Program

Strengthening its commitment to corporate social responsibility, Trident Case® announced its partnership with Autism Speaks, the world's leading autism science and advocacy organization.  Through this partnership, Trident Case will provide its Kraken A.M.S. iPad cases to the 1,000 recipients of the Autism Speaks 2014 iPad Grant Program.

“Trident Case is proud to partner with Autism Speaks to help promote awareness and research related to autism,” Trident Vice President of Marketing Vickie Achee said. “We hope that our donation of protective iPad cases will help families and individuals with autism spectrum disorders keep their iPads protected and functional for many years to come."

This December, Autism Speaks’ 2014 iPad Grant Program will award 1,000 Apple® iPad 4’s with Trident’s Kraken A.M.S. cases to 1,000   financially disadvantaged individuals with an autism spectrum disorder. The recipients will be announced on December 9.

In addition to donating 1,000 iPad cases, Trident Case® is also selling the unique Autism Speaks edition of the Kraken A.M.S. series on its website and for every case that is purchased, Trident is donating 20-percent of the full retail value to Autism Speaks.

Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) to select winners from among finalists on October 24th 

The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, today announced that NanoLumens, the world’s leading manufacturer of large-format indoor LED displays, has been chosen as a finalist for the 2014 Excalibur Awards.

Core Brands Continues Receiving Rave Reviews For New Products Debuted at CEDIA 2014

The rAVe publications editors judged the 2014 Best of CEDIA Awards from the show floor at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The awards were presented to the most distinguished products displayed at the show in twenty-five individual categories. The Xantech XtraNet IP line received the title Best New CI Install Tool, and the SpeakerCraft AIM 2 Series was named Best New In-Wall/In-Ceiling Speaker.

Sunfire Resets the Standard for Subwoofers With the XTEQ

Leading home automation, entertainment and control technology manufacturer, Core Brands, LLC (a Nortek company) announced today the latest subwoofer line from its Sunfire luxury subwoofer and home theater audio brand. The new XTEQ Subwoofers leverage new technologies to deliver the most powerful, clearest bass from the smallest enclosures in the industry. The new subwoofers will be showcased at CEDIA Expo 2014 in Core Brands booth #350 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.

Responding to consumer trends toward smaller, more powerful home theater subwoofers, the new XTEQ series offers integrators and consumers an unprecedented combination of incredible sound quality and small form factors that are ideal for any home theater or media room. The line includes three models that produce up to 3000W of crystal clear bass from 16-100Hz using diametrically opposing drivers, one active and one passive radiator. The 8-inch XTEQ8, 10-inch XTEQ10 and 12-inch XTEQ12 are housed in enclosures barely bigger than the size of the woofer diameter, with the XTEQ12 measuring just 13.5”(W)x 13.5”(H) x 13.5”(D).

The XTEQ subwoofers include RCA line in/line out and slave connections making it easy to pair two subwoofers, with XLR connectors for pro applications.
