HyperSound Directed Audio To Be Showcased At InfoComm2014

HyperSound® directional audio speakers to be showcased at Stampede Presentation’s Booth, #C7336

Turtle Beach Corporation (NASDAQ: HEAR), a leading audio technology innovator, today announced that its line of HyperSound directed audio speakers will be showcased in the Stampede Presentation ProductsBooth (#C7336) at InfoComm 2014, June 18-20, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

HyperSound is an innovation in audio that generates an ultrasonic beam of sound, similar to how a flashlight controls a ray of light. Unlike traditional loudspeakers, sound is confined to a specific location, creating a precise audio zone. When an individual enters the beam’s radius, they hear immersive 3D audio, which enhances experience and increases message effectiveness.

According to Todd Savitt, vice president of HyperSound sales and marketing at Turtle Beach Corporation, “HyperSound’s highly-directional audio gives systems integrators the ability to add audio to visual displays without sound bleed, which is crucial, especially in acoustically challenging environments.”

“When coupled with out-of-home digital advertising, HyperSound effectively enhances customer experiences by making messages more attention-grabbing, engaging, and memorable,” said Stampede President and COO Kevin Kelly. “We are pleased to continue offering this focused audio system as an innovative, practical solution for retail, digital signage, kiosk, casino, and trade show applications.”

In February, Turtle Beach Corporation announced the appointment of Stampede to distribute HyperSound in the United States, Canada, and Latin America, expanding its footprint across Stampede’s network of more than 11,500 Pro-AV resellers.
