Trident Case to Strengthen Its K-12 Commitment with New Additions to Its Award-Winning Product Line at FETC 2015

Underscoring its commitment to provide superior mobile device protection for the widest range of devices used in K-12 educational environments, Trident Case® today announced plans to introduce a new range of solutions designed to deliver more choice and flexibility to cost-conscious K-12 educators looking to protect their investment in smartphone and tablet technology.  The introductions will be made next week at FETC 2015 at Booth #1475 in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

“At FETC 2015 Trident is strengthening and expanding its commitment to educators with the introduction of our next generation of mobile device cases and storage units that make the in-classroom protection and storage of devices safer and more reliable,” explained Trident Vice President of Marketing Vickie Achee. “What’s more, we are introducing a new series of rugged tablet cases, as well as a new line of anti-microbial cases that will help prevent the spread of common microbes and reduces the growth of mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria on the product’s surface — a critical consideration for every educator given the fact that most devices are shared among many students during the course of the day.”

Leading the way for Trident at FETC 2015 is the all-new line of Trident Antimicrobial Cases. Powered by the premium iShieldz Antimicrobial Device Protection System with Silver Seal™ Antimicrobial Surface Protection, these cases are infused with silver ions that fight to keep devices up to 99.99% free of common microbes. Coupled with the iShieldz screen protector, both the Kraken AMS and Cyclops Antimicrobial cases offer users the ultimate protection from bacteria and drops or spills — making them ideal for use in classrooms where tablets are shared among students.

Also making its debut at FETC 2015 is the Trident Charging Cart, the ideal solution for charging multiple tablets in K-12 classrooms. Built-in charging ports allow users to charge up to 30 tablets at once, while a UV light inside the Charging Cart disinfects the cases while charging them. The cart, equipped with an acrylic frosted window to view the devices, fully charges all tablets in up to 4-6 hours. A red LED light indicates that the devices are charging, and a green LED light indicates that the devices are fully charged.

Trident is also showcasing its latest line of t cases for today’s newest and hottest tablets — including the new Trident Cyclops Case for the Surface™ 2 and Surface™ Pro 3 that protects tablets against drops and other impacts while simultaneously boasting an ultra slim and adaptable design. The user-friendly case guarantees convenience as well, as it is compatible with all angles of the Surface kickstand. In addition, a removable cover port enables seamless use with the Surface Type Cover keyboard, while the case is still on.

Finally, the Trident Kraken A.M.S. Series, which offers the maximum level of tablet protection, is now available for the iPad Air 2. The polycarbonate and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) construction provides dual layer protection that includes a built-in screen protector to prevent scratches. The Kraken A.M.S. case is fully adaptable to any lifestyle, as it includes a twist-and-lock attachment port at the back of the case that supports a variety of accessories such as the A.M.S. Tablet Stand and dozens of mounts from Arkon. These ultra-tough cases are proven to stand up to the harshest conditions, meeting Military Standard MIL-STD-810F for protection against drops, dust, rain, sand and vibration.

Trident Case® Stands up to Germs with Its First Ever Line of Cases with Antimicrobial Product Protection

Underscoring its commitment to improving the quality of life for every smart device user, Trident Case®, manufacturer of rugged and durable mobile and tablet device cases, today announced the debut of its first ever line of cases that utilize Silver Seal™ antimicrobial product protection.  Silver Seal™ is an antimicrobial, fungistatic additive which reduces the growth of 99.99% of mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria on the product's surfaces. The new case line, debuting in black and white for the Kraken AMS Apple® iPhone® 5/5s/6/6 Plus, Kraken AMS Apple iPad® 2/3/4, Kraken AMS Samsung Galaxy® S5, and Cyclops Microsoft Surface Pro™ 3, will be unveiled at CES 2015 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth #5512.

“Trident’s line of Antimicrobial cases is unlike anything we’ve ever introduced before,” Trident Vice President of Marketing Vickie Achee said today. “By incorporating the iShieldz Antimicrobial Screen Protection System and utilizing Silver Seal™ technology, we are now able to make tech cleanliness a reality for all mobile and tablet devices.”

Powered by iShieldz and protected with Silver Seal™ technology, Trident’s Antimicrobial cases are infused with silver ions that keep the product cleaner, greener and fresher, while preventing the growth of up to 99.99% of mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria.  Coupled with the iShieldz Antimicrobial Screen Protection System, both the Kraken AMS and Cyclops for Microsoft Surface Pro™ 3 Antimicrobial cases offer the ultimate product protection from bacteria growth and drops or spills.

“Trident’s Kraken AMS and Cyclops series are the toughest and most durable cases we offer,” Achee added. “Paired with iShieldz Antimicrobial screen protection and protected by Silver Seal™ technology, these cases offer the ultimate device protection.”

According to iShieldz, the average cell phone harbors more germs and viruses than a public toilet seat, and nearly one third of those microbes can be transferred to your skin on contact. The iShieldz Antimicrobial Screen Protection System with Silver Seal™ Technology offers the ultimate level of device protection. The Silver Seal™ solution utilizes all-natural, pure-silver ions in an inert soluble glass structure. The solution’s inorganic nature insures a highly safe, non-volatile and long-lasting level of antimicrobial protection.

Trident’s Kraken A.M.S. Series is 20% thinner than the previous version, eliminating bulk without sacrificing the high level of protection. Thanks to a new engineering design that overmold TPE onto a PC (polycarbonate) shell, combining a cushioned interior within a hard, rigid exterior, the device is well protected within the case. Kraken A.M.S. series cases are independently tested to meet Military Standard MIL-STD-810F on vibration, dust, sand, rain or drops. That covers just about every type of “just in case” situation a user might encounter.

Overmolded with TPE and polycarbonate, Trident’s Cyclops case for the Surface Pro™ 3 protects tablets against drops and other impacts while simultaneously boasting an ultra slim and adaptable design. The user-friendly case guarantees convenience as well, as it is compatible with all angles of the Surface Pro 3 kickstand. In addition, a removable cover port enables seamless use with the Surface Pro 3 Type Cover keyboard, while the case is still on.

Trident’s cases with antimicrobial product protection are currently available through special order. The Kraken AMS for iPad 2/3/4 has an MSRP of $129.95, the Kraken AMS for iPhone 5/5s has an MSRP of $79.95, the Kraken AMS for iPhone 6 has an MSRP of $79.95, the Kraken AMS for iPhone 6 Plus has an MSRP of $89.95, the Kraken AMS for Samsung Galaxy S5 has an MSRP of $79.95 and the Cyclops Case for Microsoft Surface Pro™ 3 has an MSRP of $159.95.
