New Ultra-Protective and Stylish Cyclops™ Case for Microsoft Surface 3™ Tablet Now Available from Trident Case™

Trident Case™, a leading manufacturer of stylishly designed but rugged mobile phone and tablet cases, today announced the availability of its new Cyclops™ case for the Microsoft Surface 3™ tablet, which is designed to protect the device from drops, spills, dirt and moisture.

“The smaller, more portable Surface 3 is perfect for the on-the-go lifestyle, and, because of that, it requires complete protection from most any accident,” said Trident Vice President of Marketing Vickie Achee. “Our new Surface 3 Cyclops case is able to provide that degree of protection, while also minimizing bulk and maximizing style.”

Overmolded with TPE and polycarbonate, Trident’s Cyclops case for the Surface 3 protects tablets against drops and other impacts while simultaneously boasting an ultra slim and adaptable design. The user-friendly case guarantees convenience as well, as it is compatible with all angles of the Surface 3 Kickstand.  Additionally, a removable cover port enables seamless use with the Surface 3 Type Cover keyboard, while the case is still on.

Furthermore, to protect the device, water resistant mesh covers speakers and openings to keep dust, dirt and moisture away from the device. Inside the case, a protective lining provides extra padding in case of accidents.

“As tablets become more affordable, more people are able to take advantage of all they offer,” said Achee. “This increase in tablet usage is very apparent in the Education industry and as students and teachers bring their devices from class to class, adequate device protection is of the utmost importance.”

Like all Trident cases, the Cyclops Case for the Surface 3 is made with bio-enhanced polycarbonate, which is recyclable, degradable, and compostable, making it eco-friendly.

What's more, Trident Case is a participant in Microsoft’s Designed For Surface program, along with a select group of top-quality brands. This is the third product Trident has designed and manufactured as part of this program. Microsoft included Trident Case because of its high level of premium mobile and tablet protection cases, and its thoughtful design that elegantly incorporates kickstand and Type Cover functionality – elements that set Surface apart from other tablets.

“People are increasingly seeking devices that span work and play, can be easily managed and configured, and have the right software to get the job done,” Achee said. “We’re excited to participate in the Microsoft Designed For Surface program for these reasons, and because it further demonstrates our commitment to serving the needs of customers relying on Microsoft devices and services.”

“The Designed For Surface program was created to address the growing demand for Surface accessories to complete a wide range of use scenarios in business, at home and on the go,” said Cyril Belikoff, Senior Director, Microsoft Surface. “We look forward to working closely with our Designed For Surface Program participants to better serve their customers and create compelling solutions together.”

The Designed For Surface program allows accessory manufacturers to really embrace

Surface as a 2-in-1 device and help people move seamlessly with their Surface between tablet and laptop experiences. Microsoft is working with leading manufacturers to develop accessories that make Surface more useful when touch is the interface of choice and accessories that are thoughtful about incorporating the Surface Type Cover click-in keyboards and Surface Pen – elements that are unique to Surface and open up a world of possibilities for helping people do more.

Trident’s Microsoft Surface cases are available immediately in black and white at www.tridentcase.com for MSRP of $79.99.

Trident Case to Strengthen Its K-12 Commitment with New Additions to Its Award-Winning Product Line at FETC 2015

Underscoring its commitment to provide superior mobile device protection for the widest range of devices used in K-12 educational environments, Trident Case® today announced plans to introduce a new range of solutions designed to deliver more choice and flexibility to cost-conscious K-12 educators looking to protect their investment in smartphone and tablet technology.  The introductions will be made next week at FETC 2015 at Booth #1475 in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

“At FETC 2015 Trident is strengthening and expanding its commitment to educators with the introduction of our next generation of mobile device cases and storage units that make the in-classroom protection and storage of devices safer and more reliable,” explained Trident Vice President of Marketing Vickie Achee. “What’s more, we are introducing a new series of rugged tablet cases, as well as a new line of anti-microbial cases that will help prevent the spread of common microbes and reduces the growth of mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria on the product’s surface — a critical consideration for every educator given the fact that most devices are shared among many students during the course of the day.”

Leading the way for Trident at FETC 2015 is the all-new line of Trident Antimicrobial Cases. Powered by the premium iShieldz Antimicrobial Device Protection System with Silver Seal™ Antimicrobial Surface Protection, these cases are infused with silver ions that fight to keep devices up to 99.99% free of common microbes. Coupled with the iShieldz screen protector, both the Kraken AMS and Cyclops Antimicrobial cases offer users the ultimate protection from bacteria and drops or spills — making them ideal for use in classrooms where tablets are shared among students.

Also making its debut at FETC 2015 is the Trident Charging Cart, the ideal solution for charging multiple tablets in K-12 classrooms. Built-in charging ports allow users to charge up to 30 tablets at once, while a UV light inside the Charging Cart disinfects the cases while charging them. The cart, equipped with an acrylic frosted window to view the devices, fully charges all tablets in up to 4-6 hours. A red LED light indicates that the devices are charging, and a green LED light indicates that the devices are fully charged.

Trident is also showcasing its latest line of t cases for today’s newest and hottest tablets — including the new Trident Cyclops Case for the Surface™ 2 and Surface™ Pro 3 that protects tablets against drops and other impacts while simultaneously boasting an ultra slim and adaptable design. The user-friendly case guarantees convenience as well, as it is compatible with all angles of the Surface kickstand. In addition, a removable cover port enables seamless use with the Surface Type Cover keyboard, while the case is still on.

Finally, the Trident Kraken A.M.S. Series, which offers the maximum level of tablet protection, is now available for the iPad Air 2. The polycarbonate and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) construction provides dual layer protection that includes a built-in screen protector to prevent scratches. The Kraken A.M.S. case is fully adaptable to any lifestyle, as it includes a twist-and-lock attachment port at the back of the case that supports a variety of accessories such as the A.M.S. Tablet Stand and dozens of mounts from Arkon. These ultra-tough cases are proven to stand up to the harshest conditions, meeting Military Standard MIL-STD-810F for protection against drops, dust, rain, sand and vibration.
