The Next Revolutionary Make-Up Remover Is Here - And It's Not For Your Face!

Just admit it. At some point, you’ve looked at your smudged phone screen in horror, wondering how you – a clean, hygienic person – could have such a gross phone. But you’re not alone. Each day, women who wear make-up transfer foundation, blush and bronzer to their mobile device screens, producing a cloudy, unpleasant film. Luckily, there’s a safe solution to your filthy little secret. WHOOSH! has developed a non-toxic screen cleaning solution that not only removes make-up residue and cleans your screens but helps resist fingerprints to keep screens shining like new. This way, you’ll never be caught with a dirty screen again.

“It’s really important that women have a safe and non-toxic way to remove make-up residue that may accumulate on their screens,” said Jason Greenspan, President and CEO of WHOOSH!. “Harsh chemicals found in household cleaners are not safe for mobile devices. Fortunately, WHOOSH! Screen Shine is made with non-toxic and biodegradable surfactants that safely remove oils and make-up residue.”

Leveraging the latest advancements in formula development, WHOOSH! is specifically developed to be a safe yet powerful cleaning solution that cleans screens and devices — making them shine like new while leaving an ultra-thin invisible coating that provides a resistance to dirt build-up, smudges, and fingerprints.

WHOOSH! does not contain alcohol, acids, ammonia, chlorine, petroleum distillates, phosphates or volatile organic compounds. Additionally, each package of WHOOSH! comes with a special cloth that has been treated with an antimicrobial agent to protect the fabric and mobile device screens against scuffs and scratches while cleaning.

WHOOSH! GO - 1 fluid ounce spray bottle is small and compact, making it ideal for any on-the-go accessory bag. WHOOSH! Screen Shine is available for purchase at all North American Apple stores and at more than 2,500 Walmart stores, as well as in Staples Canada, Canadian Tire, ROAM Mobility, and Shoppers Drug Mart stores. SmartHouse Integration, based in Sarasota, Florida, has improved upon last year’s success by taking home three 2014 CEA Mark Of Excellence Awards for installations that include ELAN g! systems. The awards were presented at CES 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to SmartHouse Integration President Mark van den Broek, the awards are as much an honor as they are recognition that home technologies are helping homeowners and providing more comfortable living environments.

“I’m very excited to win these Mark Of Excellence Awards, and they stand as proof that when smart design and smart home technologies come together, anything is possible,” he said. “I work closely with each customer and their homebuilder to design and install systems that provide simplified living and peace of mind without intruding on the home’s aesthetic. All the wires and electronic components are always hidden, tucked away in a closet or storage room, and the entire home or media room can be operated from an iPhone, iPad, Android phone or ELAN touchpanel or remote control.”

SmartHouse Integration took the prize in the categories of Health and Wellness Project of the Year and Home of the Year up to $50,000 for a home installation dubbed “The Pearl”, which has been featured in Sarasota Magazine and Electronic House Magazine. The company also won the category of Home Theater/Media Room Project of the Year up to $50,000 for its “House on the Bay” project. Both installations were completed in 2013.

SmartHouse Integration has been a staple of the Mark of Excellence award in recent years, earning one award in 2009, two in 2011, one in 2013, and finally three in 2014. Six of the seven awards were given for projects that included the ELAN g! system. This year’s award winning projects are detailed here and here.

Trident Introduces Broad New Line of Mobile Device Cases at CES 2014

Underscoring its commitment to provide superior protection for the widest range of mobile devices and usage scenarios, Trident Case® last week unveiled a broad new range of solutions designed to deliver profits to dealers, excitement to consumers, and fear to its competition. According to Erin Luzzi, Trident Case Vice President of Marketing, Trident leads the mobile device accessory industry through its rapid product expansion and consistent product refreshes to capitalize on consumer design trends.

“We are introducing the next generation of mobile device cases that measure 10-30 percent slimmer, feature large scratch-resistant print-friendly surfaces, and incorporate new ergonomics,” Luzzi said today.  “What’s more, we are introducing a new series of medical- and industrial-grade tablet cases that feature the same polycarbonate and thermoplastic elastomer commonly used in medical equipment and hospitals.”

In short, according to Luzzi, Trident Case is beefing up its solutions while removing thickness and weight. “And we’re doing this while meeting a military standard for performance in most cases,” she explained.

The company introduced entirely new models of its Kraken A.M.S., Cyclops, Aegis and Apollo series along with the first two models of its new Medical Series and Industrial Series, as well as new custom printing options for Aegis cases. “New materials, new options and more choices — these are the hallmarks of our 2014 product line.”

In addition, the company unveiled an entire line of cases that reflect the design styles of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, an American professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, wrestler and actor, and former UFC light heavyweight champion and PRIDE middleweight champion.  The Rampage Edition products were introduced as part of the new Kraken A.M.S. Series cases that debuted at the show.

Responding to current trends, Trident also introduced several case designs through a partnership with Today I Can Do Anything™ (TICDA), a motivational apparel designer.  Several Trident series will include models with unique designs that include TICDA’s logo and inspirational messages such as “Never Say Never” and “Today I Can Do Anything”.

The CES 2014 introduction of the new Trident Case lineup comes as the three-year-old company is growing and expanding at a dramatic rate. The company has increased the size of its southern California footprint from 2,000 square feet to more than 100,000 square feet over the last three years and has announced plans to locate up to 75 percent of its product manufacturing in San Bernardino County, California by the end of 2014.

Luzzi emphasized that Trident Case is growing so rapidly because it offers the best product in its category. “Our advantages include eco-friendly materials, Made In U.S.A. manufacturing, military-level testing for the toughest device protection available, a vast product catalog that provides varying levels of protection for today’s most popular mobile devices, and finally the adaptability and flexibility of our cases, which include attachments, multi-part cases and customizable colors and case printing options,” she said.

Luzzi asserted that the macro trends shaping the global mobile device market point the way to sustained growth for the company. She notes that more than 60 percent of mobile phone users in the United States now use smartphones and more than 1 billion smartphones are currently activated around the globe. At the same time, global tablet shipments are projected to surpass global PC and laptop shipments combined in 2015.

“And every single one of these smartphones and tablets needs one or more cases to enhance and protect them,” she said. “Trident Case provides an unmatched array of choices in design, style, color and layers of protection while using materials that are entirely eco-friendly. We stand at a major inflection point in our company’s growth.”

“We’re excited to get these like-minded dealers in a room to share our ideas and gain their feedback and insights,” Firszt said. “This will be the kick-off of the collaborative model, where dealers work together towards a common goal of profit, efficiency and ultimately a national entity devoted to custom systems design and installation.”
