Combining Qi technology with a 6000 mA/h battery, this all-in-one charging solution powers Qi compatible phones as well as other devices through a USB cable.

“Trident is dedicated to providing practical solutions for every mobile lifestyle,” Trident Vice President of Marketing Vickie Achee said today. “In order to stay connected, it’s important for people to have a portable power solution that is consistent and reliable. Trident’s new wireless charging product relieves the stresses of finding a power source by allowing users to charge multiple devices at once.”

The Electra Qi Power Base 6000 combines Qi technology and a 6000 mA/h battery to charge two mobile devices at once. Its pad-like design allows Qi-enabled devices to charge on its base, while a USB port is available to power a second device. For convenience, an LED light indicates the charging status of the power base, so users know when the base is fully loaded and ready to charge other devices.

Perfect for users constantly on-the-go, the power device is small enough to fit seamlessly into any pocket or purse. Moreover, the charger’s anti-skid ribbon keeps mobile devices in place while charging.

“The new Electra Series product demonstrates Trident’s commitment to providing practical solutions for every lifestyle,” Achee added. “We’re dedicated to making sure people can use their tech devices wherever they may go.”

The charging station is immediately available at www.tridentcase.com for MSRP of $89.95.

Tech Hygiene Became a Reality at CES 2015!

If there was any doubt that Tech Hygiene was one of the major story lines of CES 2015, it was put to rest today with the announcement by WHOOSH! Inc. CEO Jason Greenspan that an estimated 10,000 mobile device screens were cleaned and polished with WHOOSH! Screen Shine throughout the four-day show.

“By any measure, CES 2015 was the most successful show in the three-year history of the company,” Greenspan said today. “Our booth was jammed every day with people who wanted to learn more about how to make Tech Hygiene a part of their lives. What’s more, we gave away thousands of WHOOSH! Screen Shine samples to show attendees to get them started practicing good Tech Hygiene.”

According to Greenspan, the company is now finalizing delivery dates and pricing for the company’s newly expanded line of Tech Hygiene cleaning solutions, which includes WHOOSH! Wipes andWHOOSH! BLAST. “WHOOSH! Screen Shine Wipes and WHOOSH! BLAST provide additional ways for consumers to practice Tech Hygiene and keep their screens, gadgets and devices clean. Our retail partners are excited how we are revolutionizing the category and driving sales,” Greenspan emphasized.

WHOOSH! Screen Shine Wipes combine pre-treated disposable wet and dry cloths into a single serve packages that make them easy to carry and use. Consumers can safely clean, polish, and protect all of their tech and gadget devices by first using the wet Wipe cloth and then polishing it with the dry cloth. “New WHOOSH! Screen Shine Wipes deliver the same great result as our original WHOOSH! Screen Shine screen cleaner spray,” Greenspan explained. “Now it’s available in a different configuration to suit consumers who are very accustomed to regularly washing their hands with handi-wipe type products.”

Additionally, available in a 10-ounce canister at a suggested retail price of $8.99 (USD), new WHOOSH! BLAST compressed gas duster is designed to enable consumers to maintain a more complete tech hygiene program — particularly as it applies to their notebooks and PCs, which often attract all sorts of dirt, dust, and crumbs in and around the keyboard. “New WHOOSH! BLAST has been designed to deliver a burst of compressed gas that effectively ‘blasts’ dirt, dust, and crumbs out from among the keyboard keys. Then consumers can use their WHOOSH! Screen Shine solution of choice to complete the cleaning and polishing of their device,” Greenspan emphasized.

WHOOSH! Screen Shine is the next generation screen cleaner that is made with non-toxic and biodegradable surfactants instead of with harsh chemicals that can damage mobile devices. Leveraging the latest advancements in formula development, WHOOSH! is specifically developed to be a safe yet powerful cleaning solution that cleans both screens and devices — making them shine like new while leaving an ultra-thin invisible coating that provides a resistance to dirt build-up, smudges, and fingerprints. WHOOSH! does not contain alcohol, acids, ammonia, chlorine, petroleum distillates, phosphates or volatile organic compounds.

WHOOSH! Screen Shine is available for purchase at all North American Apple stores and at more than 2500 Walmart stores, as well as in Staples Canada, Canadian Tire, and Shoppers Drug Mart stores. WHOOSH! can also be purchased at www.whooshscreenshine.com.

WHOOSH! Screen Shine is available in a number of sizes: Duo+ (one 3.4 fluid ounces and one .3 fluid ounces) is for a suggested retail price of $19.99, Pocket (.3 fluid ounces) for $5.99 and Go (1 fluid ounce) for $9.99. All sizes come with a 6”x6” W! micro-fiber cloth. WHOOSH is also available for the commercial, industrial, and education markets.  WHOOSH! Screen Cleaner made its debut at CES 2014 where it became the only screen and device cleaner to be awarded two coveted CES Innovations Design & Engineering Awards.

Trident Case® Debuts New Kraken A.M.S. Series of iPhone® 5/5s and Samsung Galaxy® S5 Cases That Are 20% Thinner!

Asserting that tough smartphone and tablet cases no longer need to be thicker cases, Trident Case® introduced an entirely new and improved line of Kraken A.M.S. Series cases for the Apple® iPhone® 5/5s and Samsung Galaxy® S5 that incorporate a dual-injected TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) interior cushioning that eliminates the need to use the Perseus case as part of the solution. The introduction was made at CTIA 2014 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada in the North Hall, Booth #1639.

“We are very excited to introduce the all-new Kraken A.M.S. Series of iPhone 5/5s and Galaxy S5 cases,” Vice President of Marketing Vickie Achee said today.  “The introduction demonstrates our ability to design and manufacture a significantly thinner line of cases that remains every bit as rugged and durable as the models they replace.  What’s more, our unique Adaptive Modular System (A.M.S.) remains part of the design, which means our thinner Kraken Series for the iPhone 5/5s and Galaxy S5 still works with all available Arkon mounts and accessories.”

According to Achee, the development of the thinner Kraken A. M.S. Series results from a new engineering design that overmolds TPE onto a PC (polycarbonate) shell, combining a cushioned interior within a hard, rigid exterior. “As a result, we no longer need to include the Perseus silicone case as part of the solution, and that makes for a significantly thinner Kraken A.M.S. Series case,” she said.

The new Kraken A.M.S. Series for the iPhone 5/ 5s and Galaxy S5 is available in  seven standard colors (black, red, pink, blue, grey, white and Trident Green) and comes with a new holster The holster mounts on the front of the device, providing maximum screen protection when attaching to belts, bag straps or seatbelts.  The holster features EVA foam to provide cushioning and includes a 360-degree ratcheting swivel clip, a media stand for landscape viewing, and a slot that allows for device charging while holstered.

Proven to withstand drops, bumps, rain, dust, sand and vibration, the Kraken A.M.S. series are the only cases that meet military testing requirements and have more than two dozen custom mounting solutions. Kraken A.M.S. series cases are independently tested to meet Military Standard MIL-STD-810F to protect damage caused by excessive vibration, dust, sand, rain or drops. That covers just about every type of “just in case” situation an iPhone owner might encounter, whether they’re going to the beach or a hiking trail. What’s more, the case includes a rear A.M.S. attachment port more that physically attaches to more than two dozen custom-fitting accessories and mounts, such as a tripod attachment, belt clip, bike rail strap, wire organizer and a variety of car mounts.

Since seeing is believing, please visit Trident’s YouTube channel to see the rigorous military testing that the Kraken A.M.S. series goes through.
