Underscoring its position as Canada’s leading and fastest growing AV and IT systems integration company, Advanced announced today that for the second year in a row, it is the only Canadian integrator to be included in Systems Contractor News’ annual list of the Top 50 Systems Integrators.

“We are honored to once again be named a top systems integrator,” Advanced Co-President David Weatherhead said today. “Advanced has designed and installed state-of-the-art AV and IT system solutions in many environments. This year, we continued to offer the best in terms of innovative technology and services. Our rate of growth reflects that our efforts to innovate have been successful.”

Systems Contractor News releases an annual list of the top 50 systems integrators in the United States and Canada, based on each company's revenue for commercial AV system design and installation, as well as its total revenue for the current year. To be eligible for Top 50 consideration, a company's revenue for commercial AV system design and installation must account for over 50 percent of its total revenue.

The announcement of Advanced’s inclusion on the Top 50 list comes after a year of innovative, high profile commercial installations as well as the introduction of a new education program.

Advanced has installed AV solutions in every environment imaginable. This year, Air Canada hired Advanced to install cutting edge presentation and communication tools throughout their new facility. The team at Advanced designed two large conference rooms, four medium sized meeting rooms, two open concept collaboration spaces, two large training rooms and three small training rooms, each with a SMART Board and slim PC for quick, simple presentation access.

In October, Advanced designed a unique mobile video wall for CTV show, “The Social.” The innovative mobile video wall can be moved on and off the set, allowing for a quick transition in between broadcasts. Advanced also expanded their reach to restaurants, such as Crabby Joe’s in London, Ontario, where they installed created an incredible guest experience with a 165” video wall.

This year, Advanced greatly expanded their offerings by partnering with Samsung to provide tablets and Chromebooks as well as the Samsung School software. Advanced Education also expanded into the Quebec market this year, opening an office in Montreal. Advanced Education aims to introduce and support the integration of interactive technology into classrooms throughout Canada. The company assists with any type of integration solution from a single projector or SMART Board to plans for an entire district or enterprise. They have specifically expanded technology programs for K-12 classrooms to include Samsung Chromebooks™ and specially priced Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets enhanced with collaboration software.

“Our work on several installations has solidified our position as Canada’s premier AV integration company,” said Weatherhead. “We look forward to exploring more commercial installation opportunities as well as expanding Advanced Education in the coming year.”
