Trident Case® Gives Back to Operation HomeFront To Assist Military Families and Wounded Warriors

This month marks the celebration of Veterans Day and Military Appreciation Month. In order to support the American military, Trident Case®, manufacturer of rugged and eco-friendly mobile and tablet device cases, will be donating 20-percent of all purchases made from November 3 through 30 to Operation HomeFront, a non-profit organization that provides emergency and financial assistance to the families of service members and wounded warriors.

Trident Case® Updates Seven Cases To Protect Your Apple® iPhone 6!

Coinciding with the debut of the much-anticipated Apple® iPhone 6, Trident Case®, manufacturer of rugged and eco-friendly mobile and tablet device cases, today announced the expansion of its renowned case series’ to protect these new devices. The updated cases will serve to protect both the iPhone 6 4.7” and 5.5” models. The expansion includes the Apollo Folio, Cyclops, Kraken AMS, Perseus, Aegis, Aegis Military, and Aegis Wallet case.

Trident Case® Debuts New Kraken A.M.S. Series of iPhone® 5s and iPhone 5 Cases That Are 20% Thinner!

Asserting that tough smartphone and tablet cases no longer need to be thicker cases, Trident Case® introduced an entirely new and improved line of Kraken A.M.S. Series cases for the Apple® iPhone® 5s and iPhone 5 that incorporate a dual-injected TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) interior cushioning that eliminates the need to use the Perseus case as part of the solution. As a result, according to Trident Case Vice President of Marketing Erin Luzzi, the 2014 Kraken A.M.S. Series is 20% thinner than the models it replaces.

“We are very excited to introduce the all-new Kraken A.M.S. Series of iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s cases,” Luzzi said. “The introduction demonstrates our ability to design and manufacture a significantly thinner line of cases that remains every bit as rugged and durable as the models they replace. What’s more, our unique Adaptive Modular System (A.M.S.) remains part of the design, which means our thinner Kraken Series for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 still works with all available Arkon mounts and accessories.”

According to Luzzi, the development of the thinner Kraken A.M.S. Series results from a new engineering design that overmolds TPE onto a PC (polycarbonate) shell, combining a cushioned interior within a hard, rigid exterior. “As a result, we no longer need to include the Perseus silicone case as part of the solution, and that makes for a significantly thinner Kraken A.M.S. Series case,” she said.

The new Kraken A.M.S. Series for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 is being made available in five standard colors (black, red, pink, blue, and Trident Green) and comes with a new holster that is compatible with all of the new Trident Kraken, Cyclops and Aegis Series cases. The holster mounts on the front of the device, providing maximum screen protection when attaching to belts, bag straps or seatbelts. The holster features EVA foam to provide cushioning and includes a 360-degree ratcheting swivel clip, a media stand for landscape viewing, and a slot that allows for device charging while holstered.

Proven to withstand drops, bumps, rain, dust, sand and vibration, the Kraken A.M.S. series are the only cases that meet military testing requirements and have more than two dozen custom mounting solutions. Kraken A.M.S. series cases are independently tested to meet Military Standard MIL-STD-810F to protect damage caused by excessive vibration, dust, sand, rain or drops.
