Advanced Wins 2014 EMEA InAVation Award For International Project At GE Customer Experience Center

Advanced, Canada’s premier AV and IT integration company, today announced that its GE Customer Experience Center installation won the 2014 EMEA Most InAVative International Project Award. The installation comprises of a 58-foot Prysm LPD video wall, specifically designed for customer exploration.

“We are honored to be the first Canadian company to win the International Project InAVation Award,” Advanced Co-President David Weatherhead, said today. “GE asked us to integrate cutting-edge AV solutions throughout their new facility, and we are proud to say that we succeeded in offering their customers the ultimate experience.”

 The installation at GE’s IQ™ Global Innovation Center comprises of 55 rooms including the Customer Experience Center, executive offices, boardrooms, training rooms, and meeting rooms, all of which utilize state-of-the-art AV equipment including video conferencing systems, interactive touchscreens, in-ceiling speakers and microphones. The 58-foot Prysm LPD video wall in the Customer Experience Center allows customers to explore GE’s energy technologies firsthand, while enabling them to discover solutions to improve and enhance their energy grids.

The InAVation Awards celebrate innovation in AV by rewarding manufacturers, distributors, integrators and project managers for exceptional projects and products. Project categories include work within retail, education, corporate, visitor attraction, leisure and entertainment, transport and communications and live events. Award winners are selected by InAVate and its media partners.
