APG Displays Strengthens Its North American Sales Team
/Underscoring its commitment to serve as a complete resource for videowall solutions throughout North America, APG Displays today announced the appointment of Michael Hollmen and Kyle Smith to key account executive roles at the company. The appointments come after the company’s most successful year to date, with the recent debut of the Orlando, Florida office that dramatically increased the size of their videowall rental and distribution fleet.
“We are thrilled to welcome Michael and Kyle to our team,” APG Displays President David Weatherhead said today. “Their industry experience will have an immediate and positive impact on our North American sales and customer service. With that being said, both our Orlando and Toronto branches are thriving and growing. These appointments are a testament to the growth APG Displays is now experiencing.”
Michael Hollmen comes to APG displays’ Orlando branch from GSE Audio Visual, where he served as a national account executive responsible for providing audio and visual equipment and services to companies, associations, and various organizations throughout North America and Europe. Prior, Hollmen served as an account manager at APCO Audio/Visual where he created and maintained relationships with clients worldwide. Hollmen graduated from Rutgers State University with a B.A. in Business Administration.
Kyle Smith, new key account executive at APG Displays’ Toronto branch, formerly worked as an account executive at Freeman Audio Visual Canada with an excellent track record in the corporate event space. Smith has also held positions at WSI as a key account manager where he built relationships with franchise consultants around the world. He also served as the Ontario Area Manager at Match Marketing where he was responsible for the program coordination and management both in-office and in field for the Ontario region. Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies at Brock University, and went on to earn a graduate degree in Special Events Management from Niagra College.
“This year has been monumental for APG Displays,” Weatherhead emphasized. “We will be continuing to hire new team members as we expand. We look forward to going into 2016 bigger and stronger than ever with an experienced team that is destined to succeed.”
