Trident Case® Launches Total Cosmetic Refresh for Aegis, Kraken A.M.S. And Cyclops Cases

Furthering its commitment to providing smartphone and tablet users with rugged yet stylish cases, Trident Case® today introduced its cosmetically refreshed Kraken A.M.S, Aegis and Cyclops cases that utilize dual layer engineering to minimize bulk and maximize protection. The new designs, which will debut first for the Apple® iPad® Air 2, will be unveiled at CES 2015 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth #5512 in the North Hall.

“Trident’s newly re-crafted cases are sleek and modern while still maintaining a high degree of protection,” Trident Vice President of Marketing Vickie Achee said today. “The Kraken A.M.S, Aegis and Cyclops cases are among Trident’s most protective. Our goal is to simultaneously provide users with unbeatable protection and modern aesthetics. This new redesign achieves that goal.”

Proven to withstand drops, bumps, rain, dust, sand and vibration, Trident’s Kraken A.M.S. cases incorporateanew design that overmolds TPE onto a PC (polycarbonate) shell, combining a cushioned interior within a hard, rigid exterior. To increase protection, device controls and ports are protected with dust filters, while a built-in screen protector ensures that screens remain scratch-free.

Trident’s Kraken A.M.S. cases meet the Military Standard MIL-STD-810F to protect damage caused by excessive vibration, dust, sand, rain or drops. What’s more, Trident’s Kraken A.M.S. tablet cases are tested to withstand up to twenty-six drops onto concrete from four feet above!

All Kraken AMS cases include a rear A.M.S. attachment port that physically attaches to more than two dozen custom-fitting accessories and mounts, such as a tripod attachment, belt clip, bike rail strap, wire organizer and a variety of car mounts. To further enhance the user’s experience, the redesigned Kraken A.M.S. case incorporates Sound Funnel Technology to improve audio output.

Known for its lightweight and slim protection, Trident’s Aegis cases are designed with polycarbonate and silicone to guarantee a superior fit with any smartphone or tablet device.  Aegis cases meet MIL-STD-810F for vibration and drop protection while the dust filters and port covers help reduce damage posed by dirt, dust and moisture.

Manufactured with anti-skid construction, Aegis cases are designed to slide in and out of pockets with ease. Plus, each Aegis case comes with a self-applicable screen protector to ensure that the user’s screen stays scratch-free.

Known for its optimal protection, Trident’s Cyclops cases minimize bulk without sacrificing smartphone security. Cushioned inside and out, the Cyclops case is constructed with polycarbonate and TPE to provide superior case strength in a thin design. The Cyclops case is the thinnest case to meet military standard MIL-STD-810F to protect against rain, wind, vibration, drops and dust. All Cyclops cases feature a built-in screen protector, dust filters and silicone plugs over port openings.

To better accommodate users, Cyclops cases utilize optimized grip features to provide superior comfort. Plus, newly incorporated Sound Funnel Technology enhances audio output.

All of Trident’s cases are constructed using bio-enhanced plastic that is degradable, compostable and recyclable. For more information on Trident’s refreshed Kraken A.M.S., Aegis and Cyclops cases, visit us at CES 2015 at the Las Vegas Convention Center at Booth #5512 in the North Hall.
